Sending a Package to Russia? Temporary restriction has been imposed on import of food and medicines

Russian customs have imposed a temporary restriction on the import of food and medicines. This affects other carriers and not just UPS. The shipments will be returned to shipper immediately after arrival at the shipper’s expense.

Please also note that the temporary suspension of non-document shipments to private individuals within Russia continues.
