Where can I drop off my parcel?

You can drop off you parcel at one of over 100 locations across the UK once you have booked your delivery online.

What is dimensional weight?

Delivery costs depend as much on the size of a package as its weight.

So, if your package is light, but its dimensions are very large, it will require more space on the delivery vehicle or plane.

Therefore, carriers base their delivery charges for such items on their dimensional weight, which is calculated based on the overall volume of the package.

Where can I get packaging materials from?

You can buy a whole range of cartons, tape, bubble wrap and peanuts from your nearest drop-off location. Simply pay for these in store when you arrive.

What happens if I don’t have a printer?

Don’t worry! Your local drop-off location can print off a copy of all your paperwork for you for an additional charge of just £5 inc VAT.

When can I drop my parcel off?

You can drop off your parcel once you have received your parcel labels and attached them. Please also take your confirmation email to the drop off point and ask them to sign it as proof of drop off.

The drop off locations are open Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm. Please drop your parcel off before 3pm on the day the delivery is booked.

Is VAT included in the price?

Yes. All of our prices include VAT. Remember some of our competitors publish prices excluding VAT to appear cheaper.

Do you deliver door to door?

We can collect from your home or office and deliver it directly to the recipient. However, we also offer the option for you to drop your parcel off at an authorised drop off point which is where the parcel will be collected by the carrier. The parcel will still be delivered directly to the recipient and will not be left at a depot or drop off point at the other end

Do you offer extra compensation cover?

We offer £75 standard compensation cover for all deliveries. We also offer the option to purchase enhanced compensation cover. To find out more about our compensation cover options please click here.

You will be able to select the amount of cover you require at the ‘parcel contents’ stage of the order process.

Please note that compensation cover is subject to terms and conditions.

How long will my labels take to be sent to me?

We try our best to send you your labels within a few hours of the order being received. However, if your order is received outside of our office hours (mon-fri 9am-5:30pm) we will get the labels to you ASAP within working hours.

Will I be receive charges for customs and duties?

All parcels going outside EU destinations, parcels will pass through customs procedures. The customs team overseas will make a judgement on whether any duties and taxes are applicable to the parcel, based on the information on the despatch pack and commercial invoice (which we will provide for you). You need to provide us with the most accurate information possible including the description of the goods, individual weight, value and the country of manufacture.

The charges are made up of:
Import duty – % charge on the declared value – this depends on the type of goods
Excise duty – % charge per kilo for perfumes, cigarettes and alcohol
Import VAT/taxes – VAT or import taxes at the prevailing rate in the destination country applicable on the total value and duties
Clearance fee – an administration charge to cover the costs of additional handling, administration, collection of monies etc

If any charges apply then the recipient will be billed on or before delivery.
