Service Update – Tuesday 20th July

In France - A French Air Traffic Control strike has been confirmed from today, Tuesday July 20th 2010 from 19.00 until Thursday July 22nd 2010 until 07.30.
At this stage, it is anticipated that Rennes Airport will experience most disruption with earlier pick-ups and later arrivals-planned to truck volume from Paris.
Service delays and failures can generally be expected.
In Afghanistan - Due to the Kabul Conference starting today, Tuesday July 20th 2010, we anticipate the total closure of Kabul’s ministries and customs function from today, with as yet unknown repercussions continuing at least until Thursday July 22nd 2010.
A safe estimation would be that no government entity will be working at full efficiency or staffing levels until the end of the week. However, closures due to the conference will only affect commercial operations in Kabul and all military base operations in Afghanistan shall remain ongoing.
