Service Update – Monday 19th July
UPS have advised SendingParcels.com of the following service updates:
Mexico - Due to impact from Hurricane Alex, Pickup and delivery services in the Mexican States of Tamaulipas, Nuevo Leon and Coahuila continues to be impacted by flooding. Shipments may experience delays.

Malaysia - Effective July 1st 2010, all import shipments into Malaysia with wood packing/packaging must be heat treated with markings on the wood or fumigated with certification. All WPM (wood packaging material) must be declared in the invoice & packing list accordingly. The carrier will need to declare this information through Customs Declaration Form type of packing material either electronically or manually.
The Origin country should hold and RTS for non compliance shipment. Any non compliance shipments that slip through UPS system will be put on hold in destination and shall be under guard by MAQIS Officers or Import Officers. All charges incur by UPS Malaysia will be charge back to the origin country or consignee.
